HAITI VISIT 2012 OPPORTUNITY

(FROM PRISCILLA CRAW AND GRETCHEN ECKARD)

BABY CAPS NEEDED. Priscilla Craw hopes to return to Haiti in April or May 2012 and would love to take small/newborn baby caps again this year. There is a need for caps made with baby yarn using size 3 or smaller needles. Samples and pattern instructions for knitting/crocheting/sewing will be posted on bulletin boards in Narthex and Fellowship Hall. Thank you for keeping these little ones in mind when you purchase yarn.

DONATIONS FOR DELIVERY KITS can now be purchased at market in Haiti. This is very helpful in building their economy, serves as a teaching tool, and reduces travel bulk from U.S. to Haiti. Monetary donations for purchasing kits in Haiti's market can be made out to GraceLutheranChurch with "Haiti Project" written in memo section of check. If using church envelope, designate the amount and "Haiti" on the right side of the envelope. Donations are tax deductible.

PRE-NATAL CLINIC.  Priscilla has hopes for possibility of setting up a pre-natal clinic in the future. Any baby caps you make or monetary donations given to help with this opportunity is much appreciated. Many thanks for your special ways of helping and sending love to the less fortunate.
