We all worry.  Life can serve up a lot on our plate, so sometimes it's hard not to worry.

Jesus said don't worry, God will take care of you.  His words are recorded in Matthew 10:29, "Are not
two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from the will of your
Father. And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid; you are worth
more than many sparrows."

That was theme of Pastor Rick Eckard's sermon and children's sermonette on Feb. 27th, 2011.  See
his message to the children above.  Or hear the
sermon and songs here.
Our video archive page gives you a glimpse of the special talents of our many musicians.  Each week they
offer songs of praise that will send you on your way with a song in your heart.

On April 10, 2011, we heard a lesson about deep suffering - the kind that sometimes seems hard to understand.

We heard the story from John 11 of Jesus raising Lazarus from death.  Pastor Rick Eckard explained Lazarus' death
and resurrection was a special sign that God's glory can be revealed in suffering.  It showed Jesus came from God
and preached with God's blessing.

Even today you can see the signs of God's grace, sometimes in the lives of people around us.  Pastor Eckard told the
story of his childhood friend Wayne who lived with the challenges of cerebral palsy, but whose faithfulness left an
indelible image.  Many years later, that faithfulness in suffering is an example in which Pastor Eckard finds inspiration.

Are we signs for God because of the way we live and love?  Are we a sign pointing to Jesus?  Pastor Eckard
encouraged the children in his kids' sermonette, below, to be a sign for Jesus.
